HP Presario CPU upgrading problems continued...

I am upgrading my HP Compaq Presario cq56 laptop's processor from a intel celeron T3500 to a now Intel core 2 duo T9300 processor so going from 2.0 to 2.5 same bus speed same socket type but i am not getting any screen on boot up and it shuts down after a few seconds then turns back on with still no screen. Besides the speed what is the difference and is there anything i can do or do i just have another laptop processor that i cant use.
