I have a problem like this:

its not all the time, but still.. sometimes its doing that (with blue no green)

the problem is the LCD or the chipset?

everything can be replaced. chipset and gpu need to be resoldered using infrared soldering agreagate (7000$, not every repair shop has it)

you can't do it on your own. only repair service. and they will take 100-250$ for that.

negotiate with them. 100$ is good price for them for 5-10 minutes work. You can disassembly laptop and bring a motherboard only with chipset to even lower the prise but how will you guarantee that it worked before if they spoil smth? And make sure they will use Infrared Soldering Station not a hot air one which is more risky

warranty is what must be no matter what. This price includes search of the chipset, buying it and disassembling reassembling laptop. Still I think 200$ would be a limit for that. If you buy chipset your self it must reduce 70-50$. It depends if they are rednecks there or good trusted guys

I think your laptop uses MXM cards....

You could just buy something newer/better for about 100$
